Stuart Noble struck twice as Alloa extended their lead at the top of Division Two with a win over East Fife.Alloa's Gary Carroll's crossed for Noble to head in after 26 minutes then Bryan Prunty's almost made it two, but his effort was turned around the post.

The visitors tested Alloa goalkeeper David Crawford, who was quick to to keep out Paul McManus.

But the hosts wrapped up all three points six minutes from time when Noble headed his second from Bloom's cross.
