This was a game that had 3 people sent off 1 gole and a penalty missed! Alloa went out with only two injuries Andy Seaton and long term injury Max Christie. East Fife looked lively with about 8 corners in the first half an hour but did not capitalise on their chances. East Fife had a couple of good shots saved one of which was tipped over the bar. The Alloa crowd was well up for this game and new signing Paul Walker and Ian Nicholson had headers cleared off of the line. Alloa finally scored when Richard Walker sprinted down the left wing, beat two players, treid the next came back to him and shot down to the right side of the keeper. In the second half Ian Little got fouled in the box and Gordon Russell was sent for an early bath. Callaghan hit the bar with the penalty. East Fife did not look like much of a threat and only really had a shot saved in the second half. Gary McGlynn was sent packing as well and Chris Miller followed him.
